The spout and handle is soldered by hand to make sure that nothing disturbs the traditional clean lines of the Napoletana and to complete the perfection of the design and high quality materials used.

Napoletana is completely manufactured from highest quality 18/10 stainless steel (incl. internal components) and is suitable for use on gas, electric, glass, ceramic as well as induction stoves.

Using a Neapolitan coffee maker such as the Stella Napoletana is a very traditional Italian way of preparing your coffee providing you with a more intense coffee Aroma. A Neapolitan coffee maker is not to be confused with a stovetop espresso maker. This “Flip” Coffee Maker does not use steam to extract coffee under pressure like an espresso machine or stovetop maker. It works with gravity pulling the water through the coffee ground.

Here is how easy it is to use the Napoletana:

The Stella Napoletana has three main components: a water reservoir, a coffee filter and a carafe. 

1.) Take the 3 components apart
2.) Fill the water reservoir up to the little breathing hole with water
3.) Fill the coffee grounds loosely into the filter and close the filter with the filter cap
4.) Place the filter back into the water reservoir and close by attaching the water carafe on top
5.) Place the Napoletana on your heat source (we recommend using medium high heat)
6.) Once the water starts boiling, turn the heat source off and “flip” the Napoletana so the water can drain through the coffee grounds into the carafe.
7.) Once all coffee has drained into the carafe, your coffee is ready to serve.

All of Stella's products are cold stamped. Each part is made from a disk or shaped piece of stainless steel, which is subjected to a number of stamping and pressing operations until the desired form is obtained.

The artisan production cycle of a Stella espresso maker involves approx. 80 individual steps.
